Welcome to Sweet Allie's Alpacas We raise huacaya alpacas, colored and white angora goats and English angora rabbits. We are located about 20 minutes north of Dayton, Ohio. We now have homemade goat's milk soap available! We started five years ago with 4 alpacas and love every minute of the alpaca life! We have learned so much about these wonderful animals and have met many wonderful people. Our farm help consists of my husband, Bryan, Jenny (that's me), our son Chris - age 12, daughter Haily - age 11, daughter Allie (hence the name) - age 8 and daughter Emmie - age 4. It is always crazy around our house and what a better way to raise kids than with lots of animals around. All of our children help out with the outside chores. The kids like to help out with halter training and teaching the animals the obstacle course. They all like to go along and help out when we take the animals anywhere for public appearances. And what a better way to show people how gentle they can be, then to have our kids in the pen showing them to the public. I truly could not do it without them! They are all such big helpers. Best of all, they have all been lucky enough to experience the wonderful and amazing birth of a few of our alpacas and goats! The kids have also been able to take the alpacas and goats to school and walk them right into the classroom for a visit with all the students and teachers!! Haily is involved with a local alpaca and llama 4-H group. This will be her second year and she has had a wonderful time meeting kids with the same interests and showing her alpaca.
