Handmade Goat's Milk Soap Our Handmade goat's milk soap is made in small batches, one batch at a time, to produce a rich creamy goat milk bar of soap. There is at least one ounce of goat's milk in every bar. Enjoy the luxurious and relaxing world of handmade soap made the old fashioned way! The benefits of bathing in milk have been know for it's nutritional, healing, and moisturizing qualities for centuries. Milk is rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals and is a wonderful skin softener. Goat's milk makes soap gentle and especially kind to sensitive skin. Our rich and creamy soap is made with 100% whole goat's milk, no powdered milk or added water. No tallow or lard is used. Depending on the recipes, our soaps contain coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter, palm oil, cocoa butter, castor oil, avocado oil, sodium hydroxide (Lye-without which soap would not be soap) and the finest fragrance oils that we can find. Saponification is the process that results in soap. True soap is made by combining sodium hydroxide (lye), oils and or fats, and water or milk in a process know as saponification. We have many different soap molds which would include a victorian heart as in the picture above, a rooster, horse head, mother and baby goat, palm trees, sheep, cowboy boot, dragonfly, rabbits, teddy bears, and a few holiday molds which are a christmas tree, candy canes, holly, and an ornament. I f you have special fragrance in mind that I do not have, let me know and I can order just about any kind you can think of. All of our soaps are between 4 and 5 ounces each. We have 4 Nubian dairy goats - Aleaha, Ireney, Applesauce and Butterfly. We have added a few Saanens to our herd - Mimosa and Marrika, two more nubian kids, Coconut and Blueberry, and a saanen buck named Melman. We have two alpine/nubian crosses too! We also have a Nubian/Toggenburg Cross named Lilac and a Saanen/Nubian cross named Tinkerbell. Mimosa and Tinkerbell This is Coco Puff and her brother! |
